Garlic Mustard Pull
Garlic mustard is an invasive plant
that is extremely aggressive, and is rapidly replacing native woodland
plants in northeast Ohio. Once established, there's nothing left under
the trees except garlic mustard - all the Ohio wildflowers and other
diverse flora are gone. It has no natural enemies in North America, and
must be pulled up by hand to be stopped. Join us in the church parking
lot on Saturday, May 4, at 10:00 AM to spend a few hours pulling it
out, and help save our woodlands!
Mission 4/1 is an nation wide, environment-themed event of the UCC. You can read about it
here, and support Bath Church's contributions to the campaign at the garlic mustard pull, as well as in many other ways.
